One-night stands are supposed to be with someone convenient, or wickedly persuasive, or regrettable. They aren’t supposed to be with someone like him.

But after a crazy Vegas weekend celebrating her college graduation—and terrified of the future path she knows is a cop-out—Mia Holland makes the wildest decision of her life: follow Ansel Guillaume—her sweet, filthy fling—to France for the summer and just…play.

When feelings begin to develop behind the provocative roles they take on, and their temporary masquerade adventures begin to feel real, Mia will have to decide if she belongs in the life she left because it was all wrong, or in the strange new one that seems worlds away.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

“I just want to make love to you all day…I don’t want to think about work or friends or even eating. I want to exist on you alone…”

I’m most likely one of the last people within the indie community that has yet to read Christina Lauren’s Beautiful Bastard Series. I”ve always heard wonderful things about it and have no idea how I managed to sidestep that series for this long. But after experiencing  the remarkable writing in Sweet Filthy Boy I”m now convinced that all three plus+ books have to be moved to the top of my TBR List.

I thought that the  story flow and the writing was just impeccable. From the very start you can’t help but become immersed in Mia and Ansel’s universe. As you can tell from the synopsis  the beginning of their relationship is no where near ideal. As a matter of fact, I was convinced that there was never a way for such an impulsive decision could ever develop into something positive.

How wrong was I? What ends up happening  sure did put me up for one rude awakening and I need to compliment the authors for their ingenuity. They amazed me to no end. Not only did this beautiful couple manage to discover themselves individually and as a couple but they also were able to bring their dreams and goals to the forefront together and in between all that – manage to  find  a love that could last a lifetime.

Enjoyed this one and I can’t wait to see how the authors’ spin on Harlow and Finn story. November can not get here fast enough!

My  Rating:

4.5
