Angie’s Thoughts:

This was my first big signing I ever went to and while there were some issues it didn’t stop me from having the time of my life! The venue was absolutely gorgeous!

While waiting for it to open, the authors started coming out for their pictures to be taken and I was a total fangirl! I wanted to start yelling their names and waving like the stalker I am but obviously, nerves took over and I didn’t want to get kicked out before I was even able to get into the signing. Lol

I was lucky enough to have a VIP ticket and it made a huge difference! With the help of my fellow co-blogger Micah we were able to get all of our books signed except for a few. Well, she got all of our books signed. She’s the veteran. I’m a newbie and a chatter. I couldn’t help but to talk to every author that was welcoming and nice. Getting pictures and hugging them. Making memories that will last a lifetime.

While the event coordinators tried to make it run as efficient as possible, like all events you are going to have issues that you can’t just can’t predict. They tried to do line numbers and the PA system was either too loud you couldn’t understand them or everyone was just excited that you couldn’t hear the event coordinator announcing numbers. This made for long lines and by long I mean waiting in lines for over an hour just to get your precious books signed. But the authors made it worth it. Being so kind. Apologizing when it wasn’t their fault. Thanking their fans for standing in their crazy lines.

These long lines also made it hard to get to some of the other authors who had little to no lines. You had to keep saying excuse me or if someone was rude and yes some ppl were rude you just had to shoulder through. The way the lines ran, you couldn’t get through the first aisle. You had River Savage line going this way ⬆️ and Chelle Bliss line going this way ⬇️. It made it to where if you had a cart you couldn’t fit down that aisle at all.

Regardless of these problems I still had a blast! I met some new to me authors and authors that I have been a fan of for a long time! At times I felt like I was in a roller coaster park for authors but at the end of those lines was your reward and it was so worth it!

I want to thank the event coordinators and all the authors for this wonderful event!
