My marriage seemed perfect from the outside looking in.
People envied me. They wanted my life, wanted to be me.

Mrs Alejandra Gambino.
Wife of Dino Gambino. Daughter of Eduardo Castillo.
Respected. Loved. Mob royalty.

They had no idea of the horrors that lurked behind closed doors.
They didn't know I was at the lowest point a person could reach.

Enter Julius Carter.
Aloof, handsome, blue-eyed Julius Carter.

He saved me.
I screwed him over.

Now everybody was after me. My life was forfeit.
It was only a matter of time. I was a dead woman walking.

The question was, who would get to me first?

Q & A Review by Liezel & Angie:

There are so many exceptional characters in this story? For you, who made the best impression? The worst?

Liezel: Alejandra stood out the most for me. The loyalty she had for her family was remarkable. Personally, I wouldn’t have accepted such an horrible fate, I would’ve given up a long time ago but she rode it out to protect her siblings.

There’s a certain woman who commits the ultimate betrayal. She definitely was the worst. Yet even so… I though she too was intriguing. I felt like there was so much more to learn about her and I hope Belle Aurora elaborates more on her story.

Angie: I love Alejandra too for the exact same reasons as Liezel but I have to say Ling. There’s just something so intriguing about her that I need to know more about. Now let me say this, I have not read book 1 so maybe there was more of a backstory on her in that book but if not I would love for her to have her own book. Talking about dark and mysterious and freaking hot. Ling’s book would be that and so much more!

What didn’t you like about the story?

Liezel: The timeline was confusing which I didn’t really care for at first but as I read further into the story everything made perfect sense to me. Coincidentally the “additions” was what I eventually liked most about it.

Angie: The only thing I didn’t like was how someone wouldn’t just talk. It would have made life a thousand times better. This is like a little thing that bothers me about some books. I guess because I’m blunt and say what’s on my mind I don’t understand why you wouldn’t tell whomever what they wanted to know if it meant life and death. Too much stubbornness is not cute.

What did you like most about this story?

Liezel: I loved that it kept you guessing!  I loved how the first and second book intertwined. There’s this one scene where all of the characters collide…this was definitely the best part of the entire story.

Angie: I loved the darkness of it. How it made me feel if I had to put it down to go do something.  I didn’t want to stop reading it. Even though I didn’t read the first it was pretty simple to figure out what exactly happened to each character in the first book. Belle done a great job with that.

What are your thoughts on the pairing between Alejandra and Julius? Do you see them together until the very end?

Liezel: After all the shit Ana had been through, she deserved  an HEA and there isn’t a doubt in my mind that Julius would provide that for her. They’ve literally  already been through hell and back… So hell yes I see them until the very end.

Angie: One would say yes but with how things went in Dirty I don’t know if Belle will just up and kill one or both of them. For now they’re a great unlikely couple.

Would you recommend this book OR this series?

Liezel: If you are into dark romance then YES! I would recommend this series. I am hooked,  you would be too especially after reading that  Epilogue – epilogue- and the other Epilogue …

Angie:  Yes! Especially if you are into dark romance and if you love Belle! I’m going to go back and read the first book and like Liezel said “Epilogue – epilogue- and the other Epilogue …”

About Belle Aurora

elle Aurora is twenty six years old and was born in the land down under.
At an early age she fell in love with reading. Boredom one summer had her scouring the bookshelves at home. She stumbled across Sandra Brown’s Breath of Scandal and fell in love with romance.
Having been brought up in a loud and boisterous family of Croatian descent, she developed a natural love for dramatics and humor. Only some years ago had she discovered a new love.
Humorous romance novels.
Kristen Ashley and R.L. Mathewson had opened a brand new world where she could lose herself yet feel safe and at home in their stories. Belle has been known to become a screeching banshee while anxiously awaiting their newest titles.
Belle never thought she would write. It had never interested her until recently. Friend-Zoned began to form and in February this year Belle typed the words Chapter One. And she fell in love.
With words.
With writing.
With a creative imagination she never knew she harbored.
Friend-Zoned is the first in the Friend-Zoned series. Keep an eye out for this cheeky author.
