Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry John Edgar Thomas Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap.

He’s not handling it well.

Hoping to help her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora agrees to give him "space"—but while the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own:

Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition.

A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart.

While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye.

The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit... and her naughty sense of humor.

But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight.

As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

“Cinderella” meets “The Bachelor”? Say it isn’t so! But this is exactly what the second book of this light-hearted, royal romance Royally Series reminds me of.

Because of Nicholas’ decision, Henry is now the first in line to the throne Wessco. Something he never wanted at all. As expected, he is discombobulated at what to do. To escape, he agrees to something completely insane – to film a reality TV show.Sounds uncomplicated, right? 20 beautiful woman vying for a spot in his bed… yet it isn’t as easy at it sounds because out of nowhere he finds his “ONE”.

What was fantastic about this book was seeing just how she would fit in his ROYAL life. And all am I am willing to divulge is that – their pairing was a match made in heaven. I loved how she flourished under Henry’s attention and in return how she inspired him to be so much more. These two were perfect together.

I absolutely enjoyed this book as much as the first. If you haven’t read them yet, do so now! Otherwise, you are totally missing out on these well-written, entertaining, and beautiful love stories.

Angie’s Thoughts:

Henry Pembrook isn’t a Fiyero-he’s a Willoughby. A John Willoughby from Sense and Sensibility–thrilling, charming, unpredictable, and seductive.

Royally Matched was amazing and unique! I love the whole aspect of a bored Prince, who is in line to be the King, filming a reality show to find the next “Queen”. He’s doing it for all the wrong reasons but hey he is the Crowned Prince after all.

Now what makes this book amazing is almost everything that follows. The references to some of the best books ever written in history. How Sara quoted them like they were the air she needed to breathe. I love how nothing was rushed. It’s sweet and innocent. I feel in love with the characters and not just the main ones. I really hope we get Novellas for Willard, Annie, Sam. I definitely need a backstory about Sam. LOL, I also hope the next book is about Penelope. I love her as much as Sara.

I’m not going to go into detail about everything inside the book. I know some will say it’s your typical CR but to me, it was so much more. It’s a modern day fairytale with a twist.

Now you may wonder why only 4.5 stars. I felt like the ending was rushed. I wouldn’t have minded a longer book so the ending didn’t make me feel like it was incomplete. It’s completely fine the way Emma written the ending but maybe not have it seemed like she was running out of paper to write. I do realize this could be due to editing hence the .5 star taken away. Other than that I loved it!
