A missing legacy, a stolen son, and one dangerous secret changed everything for them...

SHE STOLE MY PROPERTY

I'll never forget the night I caught her sneaking around my place. She thought she could steal from me and get away with it, but I have no intention of letting her get away at all. Mian Ross has a lesson to learn, and I'm going to be the one to teach it to her.

HE STOLE MY SON

I'll never forget the night I made the second biggest mistake of my life. It was supposed to be a simple job, but it quickly became so much more--one that cost my freedom and cost my son. Angel Knight became my worst nightmare... and now, he'll never let us go.

Angie’s Thoughts:

This is my first B.B. Reid book and I’m hooked. Needless to say, I read this book from morning until night. It took a little longer than expected because I had to take breaks. It was packed full of emotions that I got swept up in them and it did some damage to my psyche.

Mian grew up feeling loved but not loved. She was left with a boy who was 6 yrs older than her who couldn’t emotionally attach himself for fear of doing things that couldn’t be taken back. Her dad didn’t want her involved in his lifestyle and he thought he was doing the best he could do by sheltering her from it. He didn’t think in one fellow swoop that everything would come crashing down leaving Mian with a family that hated her and eventually desolate and broken.

Angel babysat Mian since she was 10. He’s handsome, built, mean but sweet when he lets his guard down. When the unthinkable happens his world changes drastically and he has no choice but to be the ruler of it all. What he never expected was the Sprite from his youth to break into his house and maybe his cold ice heart.

What ensues is a battle of love and war with twists, darkness, angst and so much emotion that will leave you stunned long after reading.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

Addicting. This is the one word that I would definitely use to describe both B.B. Ried’s writing and this book. Like Angie, I was hooked from the very beginning!   What I loved most about it was that it was full of surprises. Just when you thought you figured out the nitty-gritty B.B. surprises us with more unfathomable elements.

From the very beginning, you knew that Mian was destined to be with Angel but back then their timing was all wrong considering how young they both were when they first met.  Both needed to mature so instead, Angel became her friend, her protector and the worst temptation in his life … up until one fatal mistake committed by their parents broke them apart.

While Angel was being initiated into the life of crime, inflicting pain and violence, and gaining more power Mian was doing the complete opposite – barely surviving. It was her act of desperation that landed her back in his life. Was I expecting a beautiful reunion? Absolutely, but instead, Angel doles out menace and punishment.

The animosity between these two is absurd but as the time passes all that hate transforms into something different. Passion. Magnificent passion. Passion that I would’ve loved to see more of.  So this is where I forewarn you… The Bandit does end with an exasperating cliff… but don’t fret because BOOK 2: The Knight is already out! Take a good guess what I will be reading next….

About B.B. Reid

B.B., ALSO KNOWN as Bebe, found her passion for romance when she read her first romance novel by Susan Johnson at a young age. She would sneak into her mother’s closet for books and even sometimes the attic. It soon became a hobby, and later an addiction, influencing her life in a positive way.

Bebe is fresh out of undergrad college and has always wondered about the existence of her talent. When she finally decided to pick up a metaphorical pen and start writing, she found a new way to embrace her passion.

She favors a romance that isn’t always easy on the eyes or heart, and loves to see characters grow–characters who are seemingly doomed from the start but find love anyway.

Fear Me, her debut novel, is the first of many.
