he first rule of office romance is don’t do it—especially if your dream is to hold the anchor spot on the nightly news and your boss is trying to get you fired.

But one look at Cade Hill, the sexy new sports director, and uptight reporter Rebecca Fieldstone is daydreaming about other things.

Sex in his office…
Sex in the on-set kitchen…
Sex in the supply closet…

She can’t stop thinking about the former NFL quarterback and how perfect he’d look between her sheets—except he’s an arrogant jerk with a huge...ego.

He’s the last guy she’d ever have a one-night stand with.

Cade Hill draws a professional line on office romance—until it comes to the hyper-focused Rebecca. He wants her, and he gets his wish when a chance encounter has them having the hottest sex of their lives.

It’s just a hook-up, she says.
When can we do it again? he says.

With Rebecca determined to keep Cade in the friend zone, it’s going to be an uphill battle for Cade to convince her that he’s the last guy for her…

Liezel’s Thoughts:

I am a sucker for stories that involves an underdog and that is exactly what our spunky heroine  Rebecca Fieldstone portrays in this book.

Rebecca, AKA Stone has been busting her ass to achieve her ultimate dream of becoming an anchor on the nightly news yet no matter how she tries there is always someone or something that’s knocking her down.

She has the worse luck considering mishap after mishap occur coincidentally when she is live on air.  It’s embarrassing enough to the point where you feel torn between laughing at her or sympathizing with her. Yep… the term one hot mess definitely comes to mind.

I found it all charming. No wonder she didn’t have issues catching the eye of the enigmatic, ex – NFL quarterback and now newly appointed sportscaster Cade Hill. Stone so didn’t need any more complications but O.M.G. Cade was one of those type of men that you would say”damn the consequences!”

Needless to say, The Last Guy is a work-romance done right. I always thought that Ilsa Madden=Mill writing was great! Tia Louise is also great! And this collaboration? Absolutely, positively fantastic. If you ask me, this is another perfect match made in book heaven.  One- click this one now!
