Benny, broken, hurting, and alone
Lost his dolly, his love, his home.
Injured and searching, reborn anew,
He finds himself befriended by one who’s true.
Learning about the world, urges, and lust.
Finding a new future, a new dolly, is a must.
Then out of old pain, fresh prospects come to life,
Benny’s sick mind summons him, so his hand takes the knife.

Have you ever been so lost that you became a shadow? Lurking but not living. Existing in the background where no one notices you.
My doll betrayed me, killed me in more ways than she realized.
I'm watching, waiting, wanting.
One day soon she’ll give me back what she took away…
it’s funny how life works that way.

Q & A Review by Liezel & Angie

Is it possible that hurtful words can be more painful than actual physical pain?

Liezel: I personally wouldn’t want either but to answer the question, I think words are more painful because this would stay with you forever while physical pain is something that you can either get rid of or become accustomed to.

Angie: Being the product of verbal and physical abuse I can say that the verbal is worse than the physical. Bruises heal, bones mend but a broken mind is hard to fix. You will always hear that voice or voices that torment you forever even if you overcome them it’s still hard to shake.

Was there ever a time that you were freaked out by Benny? When and why?

Liezel: For some reason, Benny made my skin crawl in this book. I’ve read the last 2 books and knew what he was capable of but so I shouldn’t have been surprised but in this installment, he did creep me out. His pertinence for vengeance was so fierce and given

Angie: Benny is Benny and I think over time he has evolved into an evil none of us can understand. I wasn’t freaked out by him. I expected him to creep us out. I mean after all his favorite dolly tried to kill him. His obsession would make us cringe.

What did you think of all the twists and turns in this book?

Liezel: They were non-stop! I was just about done processing one twists when K. Webster/ Ker Dukey would drop another. These two seriously have no boundaries.

Angie: I didn’t know what to expect next. There were so many that sometimes I had to go back to read so I could keep everything straight. My head is still spinning from everything I just read.

As for as darkness goes, was this book darker than the first two. Do you prefer it that way?

Liezel: I thought this was way darker which was a good thing. It kept me on my toes, begging for so much more.

Angie: It was darker. Like I always say, the darker the better.

Would you recommend this reading this series?

Liezel: If you are into dark romance? Absolutely! This is seriously one of the most twisted books that I’ve ever read and I’ve come across quite a few.

Angie: No one writes dark romance better than Ker Dukey and K. Webster. If this is your first time reading a dark book or your hundredth then these books are for you. They never seem to disappoint me.

About K. Webster

K Webster is the author of dozens of romance books in many different genres including contemporary romance, historical romance, paranormal romance, and erotic romance. When not spending time with her husband of twelve years and two adorable children, she’s active on social media connecting with her readers.

Her other passions besides writing include reading and graphic design. K can always be found in front of her computer chasing her next idea and taking action. She looks forward to the day when she will see one of her titles on the big screen.

About Ker Dukey

My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected.

I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up.
My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling.

When I’m not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I’m a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.
