From the first day I met Racer McKay, I knew our interaction was going to be incredibly brief. First impressions really do matter and unfortunately, I didn’t make a very good one.
At the time, I didn’t think much of it. I was never going to see this man again, right?
Wrong! When I’m met with the opportunity of a lifetime, there is only one man in the state of New York who can assist me. And can you guess who it is?
But what I don’t realize is he needs me just as much as I need him. I have money he’s desperate for, and he holds the key to making my dreams come true.
So, we reluctantly join forces.
Our pranks turn from sarcastic banter, to sexual tension and lust-filled glances. Bickering matches quickly morph into slow burn moments. We’re hot, we’re cold. We push and pull. I need him, I don’t want him. We’re on the verge of combusting with an agreement dangling dangerously between us. Neither one of us can afford to lose one another and yet, we’re finding it quite hard to decipher the line that rests between love and hate.
Twisted Twosome is not a funny book. It’s downright hysterical. You will die laughing with almost every page. I say almost because Meghan does throw in some serious tone and sexy moments that draws our attention too. It’s the perfect combination of humor, sweet, and sexy that will make Twisted Twosome Miss Quinn’s Number One Book this year!
Racer and Georgiana couldn’t be any different – or so we think. There’s more than the banter, Georgiana’s money and Racer’s good looks than meets the eye. The sparks fly between these two and no matter how much they deny it, fate will win.
If you haven’t read any of Meghan Quinn’s books then do yourself a favor and buy this one today. You won’t be disappointed. It’s one of my favorite books by her and I know once you read it you’ll become addicted to her humor like me.
Twisted Twosome is about a man and woman who I never would have thought would be together. Georgiana is affluent, elegant and sophisticated. She comes off as this bratty rich girl who has no ambition, no goals but to continue on smooching off mom and dad for all eternity. Racer is the hired help – the guys that works odd jobs just to make ends meet.
The only thing that they had in common was that they shared breathing space but everything changes when Georgie’s best friend asks Racer’s for his expertise and this is when Racer finds out that there is more to Georgie after all. Once you discover more about her, you too will fall in love with this character.
How Meghan completely changed our minds about this couple is what I appreciated most about their story. I loved how she showed us that they had so much more than this strong physical attraction going on between them and how she did this in such a fun and easy going manner.
If you asked me for recommendations for Romantic Comedy authors, Meghan Quinn would definitely be one of my top three picks. She never fails to entertain and Georgie and Racer’s story isn’t any different.
