Sinful passion and delicious danger await in the second installment of USA Today bestselling author Nora Flite’s Bad Boy Royals series.

Scotch never runs from difficult situations. That is, until she rescues her bestie from a violent Mafia member. Now Scotch is running for her life. The only thing standing between her and certain death? The most dangerous man in the criminal underworld—and one of the sexiest. But just when Scotch thought she could keep her hands out of trouble, they end up all over Costello Badd’s hot, hard, tattooed body…

Once upon a time, Costello’s blue blood might have ruled a nation. Instead, he is heir to one of the criminal underworld’s most lethal families. Now he’s risking his life and betraying his clan for one sexy, resourceful waitress with a penchant for all the wrong kinds of trouble. No matter how badly Costello wants Scotch, he can never make her his. Ever.

A deliciously hot little hookup is one thing…but falling in love could ruin both of them—royally.

 Liezel’s Thoughts:

Trouble. This is where one is likely to end up when touched by a “Badd” brother. Such happened to the sweet and innocent wedding dress maker Sammy ( Royally Bad ) and now a repeat performance occurs with a cocktail waitress Scorch aka Heather.

Scorch expected to have an ordinary workday at the strip club that Costello’s family owns but the terrible night ends up with a man shot and a bloodied gun in Scorch’s hands. Knowing just how out of hand the situation is Costello makes the most illogical decision ever –  he absconds the woman that he barely knows to a family escape no less.

If you don’t know anything about the Badd Family, they’re literally royalty – rich, powerful and have an extensive amount of drama especially between the patriarch and the siblings. Despite all of the tension between them, however, loyalty and everyone’s well being is their main priority even if they rarely agree with each other’s methods.

The entire family is surprised that Costello brings a woman in their presence. Because of what happened in the past he is normally the sibling that isolates himself from the rest but as he spends time with Heather its as if she slowly melts all the barriers away. She’s good for him and everyone notices.

Witnessing his transformation is one of the best things about the story. Other interesting things were discovering the reasons why Costello was much more distant compared to his siblings. Of course, the romance was fantastic too! I would have never thought a Badd would fit in someone like Heather’s life but Nora Flite wholeheartedly convinced me so.

I was determined to discover a new-to-me author this month and I found an amazing one in Nora Flite. If romance that involves tons of family intrigue and drama, love stories that are tinged with suspense and thrills then is a series I recommend you try.

About Nora Flite

A USA Today Bestselling Author, Nora Flite lives in SoCal where the weather is warm and she doesn’t have to shovel snow–something she never grew to love in her tiny home-state of Rhode Island.
All of her romances involve passionate, filthy, and slightly obsessive heroes–because those are clearly the best kind! She’s always been a writer, and you’ll probably have to pry her keyboard/pen/magical future writing device out of her cold, dead fingers before she’ll stop.
