Charlotte Daley is the daughter of the newly elected POTUS. An only child, she's both spoiled rotten and entirely neglected by her powerful family. She's been forced to eat with the right forks, smile at all the right times, and be the picture of perfection for months. Now that her father is in office and too busy to know she exists, she's determined to exercise her new freedom before she heads back to college in New York.

Zane Parker has one job--to protect the President's daughter, all day, every day. But she's been on a partying spree since the inauguration, heading down a dangerous path that threatens to ruin her reputation and cause a major scandal for her father. Zane will lose his job if he can't get her under control. Except he wants to sleep with her as badly as he wants to set her straight. She needs discipline. And he might be just the one to give it to her.

When unexpected circumstances tie Charlotte to D.C. for the foreseeable future, Zane makes her an offer that's anything but honorable. He'll give the first daughter all the thrills she's seeking in exchange for one thing... Her obedience. Fascinated by Zane's dark promises, Charlotte agrees. Submission has never felt so good. But as Zane brings her deeper into his forbidden desires, enemies surface and danger lurks...

Q & A Review by Liezel & Angie

What do you love about the Misadventures Series?

Liezel: Let me just tell you ALL the reasons why I love this series… I love that each book is written by a different author. This gives us such a wonderful opportunity to read authors that we wouldn’t have otherwise read. I loved that each and every story is different and that each story opens up the possibility for the author to expand their stories. I love that I can start anywhere in the series without getting lost since each is a story in its own. My list just goes on and on….

Angie: I really don’t know what else to say. Liezel summed it all up pretty nicely. I love that each story is unique and you aren’t reading the same theme throughout each book. They each add their own flair and you get excited to read the new book that’s coming out.

What did you dislike/ liked about this book?

Liezel: Dislike..There was a sentence or two that was far too similar to Fifty Shades. I couldn’t help but cringe. I hoped that after reading those elements that that would be the only similarities and I am glad to tell you that after those parts are the only semblance whatsoever.

What I liked was I the story itself. I couldn’t put it down. I got so caught up in this remarkable couple’s story up to the point where I kept swiping swiping swiping my ereader hoping that there was more. I didn’t want it to ever end!

Angie: Dislike.. It was too short. I needed more of Zane and Charlotte. I really hope Meredith and Mia write their full story.

I loved everything else about this book. Like Liezel, I was addicted to it and couldn’t put it down. I read it everywhere and soaked up every word. It was just that damn good.

What are your thoughts about the characters?

Liezel: I didn’t know what to think about Charlotte at first. I thought she was your typical young adult trying to test the boundaries set by her parents but as you get further into the story you gain so much insight into all the difficulties that someone like her faces everyday being that sheltered. I would have been even more rebellious that she was. In the end, though, I am glad that she was able to gain her freedom.

I loved that Zane was there as an inspiration for her. It was him who made her realize that there was so much more to life then what her parents expected. I love that he cared for her, protected her….possessed her…..

Angie: I really thought we were going to be dealing with a spoiled rich girl when I first started reading about Charlotte but then things changed. I started having compassion for her and really enjoyed reading her parts of the book. I understand the decisions she made and by the end, it made her stronger.

I kinda didn’t like Zane as much at first either. I thought he had a huge ego complex and needed his attitude and anger kept in check. Then, of course, I grew to love him too. He still was an idiot at times but a learning idiot and you couldn’t help but fall for him.

Do you foresee this couple forming a long and lasting relationship?

Liezel: Trying not to give anything away BUT… YES! What they sacrificed for each other definitely proves that these two have staying power.

Angie: I definitely do. They’ve been through too much to not come out on top. I would be devastated if they didn’t.

Do you have a favorite quote?

Liezel: You’re everything that I need. All I’ve ever wanted. I lied because I don’t trust myself. It’s so dangerous to feel this way. I could lose everything. But I can’t lose you.”

There are a few others that caught my attention but I thought this was the most monumental since Zane finally comes to grips with what he really feels for Charlotte.

Angie: She’s beautiful, sexy, and perfect. I want to revel in all of it, but something’s changed between us. Each thrust, each touch feels as if she is somehow saying goodbye.

Would you recommend this book?

Liezel: Absolutely! As a matter of fact, I recommend reading the entire series. So far, I’ve enjoyed each and every story and can not wait to read more. If you are new to the series start this one. I assure you, you will be instantaneously hooked and can not wait to get to the next one.

Angie: Yes!! Misadventures of the First Daughter is a sexy, suspenseful read that you just can’t put down. I’ve only read a few books in this series so far and I’ve enjoyed them quite much. You won’t be disappointed!

About Meredith Wild

Meredith Wild picked up her first romance novel at the tender age of twelve, and shortly after put pen to word processor and made her first attempt at writing a love story inspired by those she so enjoyed reading well past her bedtime.

Her dream of writing took a back seat to college, parenthood and eventually entrepreneurship, which led her into the fast-paced and male-dominated high tech industry. With enough life experience for a few lifetimes, she now devotes her hours to writing contemporary adult romance, with a hint of kink.
Her debut novel Hardwired tells the story of billionaire bad boy, Blake Landon, and the object of his obsession, strong-willed tech startup CEO, Erica Hathaway.

When she isn’t writing or mothering, Meredith can be found sunbathing with an adult beverage.

About Mia Michelle

Mia fell in love with the literary world at a very young age and began putting her active imagination to pen and paper by the age of six. Over the years, she has filled up numerous shelves with her notebooks and journals of her favorite stories. Twelve years ago, Mia began drafting The Thorne Series and through encouragement of a close friend, decided to finally take the leap of faith to bring her dream to life. She openly admits to having a hopeless infatuation with her Kindle and suffers from the one-click book addiction (No intervention required).

Mia is currently a stay at home mom who has mastered the fine art of making a PB&J sandwich in between laundry and shuttling kids to ballet and swimming. In her spare time (“What spare time?” She laughs), she enjoys photography, traveling, and having a girls night out with her pals. She enjoys the simple things in life, such as sleeping more than 3 hours per night and 10 minute showers without being interrupted by children yelling “mommy” from the other side of the bathroom door.

Mia Michelle resides in Tennessee with her soul mate and husband of 18 years and their 2 beautiful young children. She is currently working on her Masters in Counseling and drafting her new series.
