A billion-dollar fashion empire, and it’s about to be mine…

I've worked a decade for this. I've sold my soul and my reputation. I've lived a lie, smiled for the cameras, and hated myself, all for this inheritance.

And then … she pops up. A mysterious heir with a rap sheet, combat boots, and a mouth that I want to pin shut with my—

It doesn’t matter. I’ve played this game for a decade. I can continue the charade a little longer, keep my hands to myself and her body out of my mind. I can keep my secret until the ink dries and everything is mine.

Or not.

Angie’s Thoughts:

I love this book so much!! Hidden Seams is sad at times, hot as hell, full of angst and add in a little mystery and intrigue then you have the perfect combination in my opinion!

Avery is not your average character. She lives life on the edge, doesn’t care what anyone thinks and speaks her mind. She’s tough with a heart of gold. I love her character so much. I felt like I could meet her walking the streets of Charleston and we would be friends despite her having money. That’s how normal she is well except what she does for work but hey I like excitement in my life!!

I didn’t know what to think of Marco at first. From the very first paragraph, we get a glimpse into what it feels like being him living a life that’s a lie. The more I read the less I felt sorry for him. He had everything and chose that life. But saying that I started to love him. My feelings for him growing with every chapter. We see a different side than the mean and hateful Marco and I loved it.

Overall this book was off the charts, toe-curling, smoking hot! The characters had a lot of depth and you could imagine living their life. The plot was one I’ve never read before and I have to give Alessandra props, she wrote a controversial book with the ease and grace of an acrobat.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

Alessandra Torre never fails to disappoint. What is so amazing is that each of the books are so unique. It is as if her stories were written by various authors. This just goes to show just how much of a talented writer she is.

Hidden Seams is about a man named Marco who for over a decade has given up his life to boost a world renown designer’s reputation. His plans was to continue doing so even after his death but once Avery literally crashes into life, all of his plans are thrown out the window.

At first, I couldn’t figure out what game Avery was playing. She had this degree of mystery that kept me so enraptured. Discovering her agenda was one of the best things about this book. The other of course was the chemistry. Avery and Marco certainly had this love-hate thing going that added to the overall appeal.

I thought they were so very different, that it would never work but you know what? Alessandra wholeheartedly convinced me that these two were fated to be together. I can’t even begin to tell you how impressed I was with how everything panned out.

If you love very well written contemporary romance novels with a twist, read this book! I thought it was amazing just like any other Alessandra Torre book I’ve read thus far.
