A new brother’s-best-friend stand alone romance by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…
I was just his best friend’s little sister.
But he was always more than that to me.
After twelve years of pining over Patrick’s easy smile, baby blues, and captivating charm, I decide to take matters into my own hands—and completely blow my chance.
Who knew a self-proclaimed manwhore would decide to be a gentleman the first time I’m naked in his bed? Definitely, not me. But when I land there again, neither of us has any intention of stopping.
There’s only one problem: nobody can know. Especially not my three older brothers. If they found out, all hell would break loose.
So I’m willing to keep our secret...
Because I want him Wright here, right now.
Chores… who really wants to do them? Not this mommy but, of course, it is one of life’s necessary evils. To get through it willingly, I try to find a good audiobook and I certainly found one on KA Linde’s The Wright Secret.
From the very first book The Wright Brother, I was instantaneously hooked. It isn’t just the dynamics between the siblings that keeps me coming back for more, it is how the couples interact with one another too. This book featured one of the sisters this time -Morgan, and Austin’s best friend, Patrick.
Patrick has had a thing for Morgan for years but because of Austin, he never made a move. It felt like it was never the “Wright” time for him. Morgan has felt exactly the same for Patrick. The only difference was she was willing to take the first step. This is one attribute that I loved about Morgan – she was a go-getter.
These two were in every sense”Wright” together. They knew each other practically their entire lives after all! To Patrick, Morgan wasn’t just a CEO of a Fortune 500 company, she was just his Morgan.
I loved how the narrators Amy McFadden and Teddy Hamilton vocalized their parts. You could tell they had history together. The passion and romance, the bickering and playfulness and eventually the love could truly be felt through my earbuds.
I enjoyed this story as much as the first three and while they can certainly be read as a standalone, I recommend reading them in tandem to get the full family dynamics effect.
