Two broken people in a city fueled by sin.

Maddie isn’t looking to be saved. She knows the only person you can count on is yourself. Her moral compass might not point true North these days—but at least she’s still standing.

The Military taught Tyler about loyalty. Being there for your brothers is the only thing that matters—but when it mattered most, he wasn’t.

She’s got a ticket straight to Hell. He’s already been there and back.

She needs to win. He just needs to stop fighting.

Some sins scar your soul so deeply, you'll never be the same.
But this Devil in disguise might just be the angel he needs to forgive himself.

Q & A by Angie & Liezel

What did you think about Sin With Me?

Angie:  I loved it! This book has it all. Love, pain, passion, heart and so much more. You could feel the emotions with each page you read and it left you craving for something that you weren’t quite sure you would be ready for. I couldn’t read it fast enough.

Liezel: This series is one of my highly anticipated of the year. Why? Because it was written by one of my all-time favorites – JA Huss. Her writing alone is phenomenal and for her to choose a co-writer for the very first time had me curious, wondering “Would a collaboration actually work?”….and OMG, it sure did!

Was there anything that you disliked?

Angie: I had a hard time getting into it at first. The rambling was a bit much but after that first chapter I couldn’t put it down. I also understood what the rambling was about so it made that first chapter much better.

Liezel: I too had difficulty getting into it. One of the authors wrote… “I feel like I am rambling”, my response was….yes, indeed but as things progressed I wanted to say… “yes, please, ramble some more”. I disliked that it ended because of how addictive the story became. I couldn’t get enough!

Did you like Maddie? Tyler?

Angie: I adored them so much!! Maddie especially. I know.. I know! Most women are going to say Tyler but I understood Maddie. I might’ve not been able to relate on some levels but I could on depression and being hardened. I had her back the whole time. I was her biggest cheerleader and still am. My heart goes out to Tyler too. Everything he went through even Maddie. I love them both.

Liezel: What I loved about Maddie was she was a conundrum. She puzzled me to no end and this was because she was so lost – just as lost as Tyler was. I did like the characters as individuals but I fell in love with them more when they were together. I predict that it’ll get even better as the series progresses.

This was Johnathan’s first novel. What did you think of his writing? Do you think him and Julie wrote well together?

Angie: I couldn’t tell this was his first novel. His writing was like one who’s been writing for years. Professional. In-depth. You could tell he put a lot of heart and soul into his work.

I haven’t read a better collaboration than J.A. Huss and Johnathan McClain. The friendship that these two have formed not only shines through their writing but you would think they were long lost lovers with how hot this book is.  It’s sinfully delightful!

Liezel: There was the awkward rambling that I had to get used to in the beginning but from there on out I thought it was good. I agree that they wrote great together and can not wait to see how this writing relationship further evolves.

Would you recommend this book?

Angie:  Hell to the double J’s I do! This book is everything you want and more. For any new and old fan’s of Julie’s and now new of Johnathan’s. This book will not disappoint you.

Liezel: Absolutely! So far, these two have been a match made in heaven. Everything that they’ve done together has turned into gold! I enjoyed this addictive story and I am excited to read more.

About J. A. Huss

J.A. Huss never wanted to be a writer and she still dreams of that elusive career as an astronaut. She originally went to school to become an equine veterinarian but soon figured out they keep horrible hours and decided to go to grad school instead. That Ph.D wasn’t all it was cracked up to be (and she really sucked at the whole scientist thing), so she dropped out and got a M.S. in forensic toxicology just to get the whole thing over with as soon as possible.

After graduation she got a job with the state of Colorado as their one and only hog farm inspector and spent her days wandering the Eastern Plains shooting the shit with farmers. After a few years of that, she got bored. And since she was a homeschool mom and actually does love science, she decided to write science textbooks and make online classes for other homeschool moms. She wrote more than two hundred of those workbooks and was the number one publisher at the online homeschool store many times, but eventually she covered every science topic she could think of and ran out of shit to say.

So in 2012 she decided to write fiction instead. That year she released her first three books and started a career that would make her a New York Times bestseller and land her on the USA Today Bestseller’s List eighteen times in the next three years. Her books have sold millions of copies all over the world, the audio version of her semi-autobiographical book, Eighteen, was nominated for a Voice Arts Award and an Audie award in 2016 and 2017 respectively, her audiobook Mr. Perfect was nominated for a Voice Arts Award in 2017, and her book, Taking Turns, was nominated for an Audie Award in 2018. Johnathan McClain is her first (and only) writing partner and even though they are worlds apart in just about every way imaginable, it works.

She lives on a ranch in Central Colorado with her family.
