First, hate. Then, want. But in the end? Heartbreak.

My celebrity life was supposed to be easy, and this movie was the biggest break of my career. But from the moment Officer Levi Fox gave me a speeding ticket on my way into town, he’s been nothing but a thorn in my side.

Dominant. Cocky. Callous.
Midnight blue eyes, a bad attitude, and muscles for days, he’s exactly the kind of man I should avoid.

But as the Cold, Montana Police Department’s official movie liaison, he’s taken up a permanent place in my life that I can’t shake.

We fight. A lot.

Then, we kiss—and my carefully crafted hate toward him no longer feels so much like hate.

I’m falling
falling
falling.
But how often do alpha-jerks cushion the landing?

STONE is LIVE EVERYWHERE and on sale for a limited time!

Liezel’s Thoughts

The Max Monroe I’ve come to know is  that author(s) that either has me tripping over myself while on the treadmill,  has me gasping for air or more so has me bent over literally  in tears from laughing so hard.

“Stone” however isn’t like  that at all. If you think about it, it is the complete opposite. It deals with raw emotions that vary from anger and hatred,  confusion, that eventually evolves into yearning and yes love.

“Stone” is about a Hollywood starlet named Ivy Stone who takes on a life changing role. It should have been as easy as any of her other movies but what made it so different was it was true- to- life, murder mystery that was set in occurred in Cold, Montana where some of the real life characters still lived including Levi Fox.

As soon as police officer Levi Fox heard that he was to be the movie liaison he literally flipped his shit. Understandably, he didn’t want anything to do in the retelling of the worst experience of his life. When he first come across Ivy he didn’t hesitate to show just how disgruntled he is. Talk about being unprofessional!

What was so amazing about this was how Ivy took things in stride. I loved that even how popular of an actor she was she wasn’t just there to Hollywood-ize a woman’s life rather she was there to portray a intelligent, strong-willed, courageous heroine AND then there’s dealing with an over complicated Levi.

At the end of the book I didn’t know whether I hated his character or loved his character. All I know was I wanted to strangle the hot/cold mofo. Good grief I can’t begin to tell you how appreciated the powerful emotions that Max Monroe was able depict in this first book in the trilogy. That and the angst is definitely what will keep me coming back for more.
