Colleen Hoover delivers a tour de force novel about a troubled marriage and the one old forgotten promise that might be able to save it.

Quinn and Graham’s perfect love is threatened by their imperfect marriage. The memories, mistakes, and secrets that they have built up over the years are now tearing them apart. The one thing that could save them might also be the very thing that pushes their marriage beyond the point of repair.

All Your Perfects is a profound novel about a damaged couple whose potential future hinges on promises made in the past. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?

Liezel’s Thoughts:

You have to be in the right mood to read this book and personally I tried so many times to get there but it wasn’t happening for me despite how many times I tried. I thought the beginning was great, we witness a couple fall head over heels in love and then out of  love.

The issues I had with All Your Perfects was I couldn’t relate to Quinn. I failed to form a connection to the heroine which is important to me as a reader. Many of times  I lost interest where I had to skip the “then” portions of their story.

I didn’t want to give up especially since my friends mentioned it will be all worth it in the end. Honestly, it was about 70% where I felt something for this couple. Graham in particular made it worth the while. He said he wasn’t a writer but with the honestly in his words he proved otherwise.

The best part of the story was the ending. It felt a little rushed compared to how detailed the middle part of the book but in the end I was glad that both Graham and Quinn got to where they needed to be. It was rough for them but they showed that true love could survive anything.

The Verdict:
