Bounty hunter, Serpint, has just returned to Harem Station with a prize addition to his brother’s elite collection of Cygnian princesses. But Serpint sacrificed a lot to bring this little gift home and now all he wants is some no-strings sex with a simple, obedient girl and a bottle of whiskey.
Enter Princess Lyra. She’s any filthy-minded rebel’s one-night-stand erotic dream. If you don’t mind her bad attitude and lack of… Luster
Not quite the obedient girl Serpint was craving. But Cygnian princesses are hard to pass up. Even one with dark secrets. Because they have a very special, very specific, sexual talent... They glow when they climax.
Lyra thinks she’s one of the strong ones. If anyone can resist an overzealous alpha like Serpint, it’s her. But his touch makes her light up like the sun. And she has never been with an AKEELIAN before—they have two—yes two—super LONG, super thick, super BIG... c**ks!
How long can she resist that?
Booty Hunter is the first book in Harem Station standalone series bursting with outlaw alpha aliens with extra appendages, runaway princesses with erotic surprises, and a whole new world of secrets, mystery, and sex. Each book is about 80,000 words and *comes* with a glowing HEA. KC Cross is the brand new sci-fi romance pen name of New York Times Bestselling author, JA Huss.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

I was hesitant about this book. Why? It’s not a typical book that I would normally read these days. The thing that had me picking it up was because it was written by JA motherfucking Huss! Let’s just say, I have no regrets. Seriously, I am astounded with just how talented JA Huss is. No matter what sub-genre she writes she always manages to blow me away.

Her new Sci-Fi Alien Romance … where do I even begin? Let’s start off with the world building – I enjoyed how much detail the author managed to put into it. The description of it was perfect. I thought the first in a new series would be solely focused on the world alone but she surprised me in delivering a just as great romance. I’m not going into the specifics but if I could just have one wish, I would want to be a Cygnian princess right about now.

Another great thing is the suspense. I loved how JA Huss kept me guessing until the end. I’m not particularly fond of the title but I can’t deny that this was such a phenomenal read. If you are hesitant to read this book like I was…. just jump right into it. Believe me, you won’t regret it. Now I’m off to reading about the other interesting character the next book in the series – Star Crossed .

The Verdict:

About J. A. Huss

J.A. Huss never wanted to be a writer and she still dreams of that elusive career as an astronaut. She originally went to school to become an equine veterinarian but soon figured out they keep horrible hours and decided to go to grad school instead. That Ph.D wasn’t all it was cracked up to be (and she really sucked at the whole scientist thing), so she dropped out and got a M.S. in forensic toxicology just to get the whole thing over with as soon as possible.

After graduation she got a job with the state of Colorado as their one and only hog farm inspector and spent her days wandering the Eastern Plains shooting the shit with farmers. After a few years of that, she got bored. And since she was a homeschool mom and actually does love science, she decided to write science textbooks and make online classes for other homeschool moms. She wrote more than two hundred of those workbooks and was the number one publisher at the online homeschool store many times, but eventually she covered every science topic she could think of and ran out of shit to say.

So in 2012 she decided to write fiction instead. That year she released her first three books and started a career that would make her a New York Times bestseller and land her on the USA Today Bestseller’s List eighteen times in the next three years. Her books have sold millions of copies all over the world, the audio version of her semi-autobiographical book, Eighteen, was nominated for a Voice Arts Award and an Audie award in 2016 and 2017 respectively, her audiobook Mr. Perfect was nominated for a Voice Arts Award in 2017, and her book, Taking Turns, was nominated for an Audie Award in 2018. Johnathan McClain is her first (and only) writing partner and even though they are worlds apart in just about every way imaginable, it works.

She lives on a ranch in Central Colorado with her family.
