This book was everything! A def must read and great follow up to From Blood and Ash!
Poppy and Cas had grown so much. Each individually but also together. I never knew a bond to be so strong like it was with them. I found myself drawn to them in a way I can’t really say. Maybe it was the humor, sarcasm and they’re arguments. I’m not sure but I def want more of that.
Before I knew it the book was over and I was reading the acknowledgments. I thought I missed something so I kept clicking my kindle trying to see if there was a bonus chapter but nope. Jen leaves us hanging with a cliffhanger I surely won’t forget. She has a way to spin words that makes you not want to stop reading. The words are masterfully weaved with magic and love. Anger and hurt. Angst and understanding. Jen leaves us wanting more.
