Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg.

Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.

So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in the renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.

Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.

And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to side in the club’s best interest if he’s ready to play.

But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat or is one of them bound to get burned?

Liezel’s Thoughts:

Curiosity is what made me one-click this book. I remember vividly how Alessandra Torre did such an amazing job telling a great story about a baseball ballplayer as did Nicole Williams and I just had to witness myself how K. Bromberg’s version would compare to those two amazing authors.

After finishing this minutes ago, I have to say she did just as great of a job as the others. What I loved most about her story were the characters. Easton and Scout only did both possess such terrific personalities but their integrity was impressive as well. I appreciated how dedicated they were to their individual causes. You can not help but fall in love with these characters!

The chemistry between these two was also off the charts. Off the bat, I wondered if these two would have anything in common besides the smoldering physical attraction and YES they do. They fit perfectly together. Definitely destined to be…and so I expected an HEA….

The kicker is, The Player doesn’t quite end in an HEA. Yes, I know…. another frustrating cliffhanger. Honestly, though, it wasn’t as bad as expected. If anything, it’ll give us more to read about this amazing couple. I personally enjoyed this one and can not wait to see how far K. Bromberg takes these two.

About K. Bromberg

K. Bromberg is that reserved woman sitting in the corner that has you all fooled about the wild child inside of her–the one she lets out every time her fingertips touch the computer keyboard. She’s a wife, mom, child rustler, toy pick-er-upper, chauffer, resident web-slinger, LaLaloopsy watching, American Girl doll dressing multi-tasker of all things domestic and otherwise. She likes her diet cokes with rum, her music loud, and her pantry stocked with a cache of chocolate.

K. lives in Southern California with her husband and three children. When she needs a break from the daily chaos of her life, you can most likely find her on the treadmill or with Kindle in hand, devouring the pages of a good, saucy book.

Fueled is K. Bromberg’s second published novel and is the highly anticipated second book of “The Driven Trilogy.” Driven was her well-received debut novel and Book #1 of the series.
