Angie’s Thoughts:
Seventh Born is a book full of surprises. You think at first that this book might not be everything you thought it to be but you’re quickly proven wrong. It’s addicting. Fast paced. Suspenseful. Gory. Scary. Full of twist and turns that leave your jaw on the floor and keeping it that way until the last page.
I had a lot of fun reading this book. I finally found a Witch book that was addicting …
You Promised Me Forever Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
I thought I loved Amanda and Tuttle in “A Friend’s Novel Series” but I fell deeply, madly head over heels in with them in “You Promised Me Forever”.
Amanda and Tuttle’s story is heartbreaking. It’s real. It’s honest. Makes you feel everything from your head to your toes. It’s angsty and loving. Everything you wanted and more.
I didn’t know if I wanted to read this book at first. I loved them in Forever and I …
Crew Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
Tijan completely amazes me with each book. I think I fall in love with one just to start falling in love more with another.
I absolutely love Bren. She’s strong, stubborn, fierce and protective. Hell her whole crew is protective. She also has this weak side to her that makes me love her even more. Weak isn’t the right word. Vulnerable. She’s had a hard life and we see it in the way she survives …
Sailing Lessons Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
Such a great book about family, loss, redemption and courage to face the past. I love the Cape Cod setting and the characters kept you on your toes.
I hated some of the decisions from the characters and it drove me absolutely batty. The plot was predictable but that didn’t stop me from loving it. I loved the drama and how everything unfolded. If you love family dramas then this is a must read.
The Verdict:
The Cheerleaders Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
The Cheerleaders is a wild ride of suspense, who done it and questioning everything you thought was true. It left me guessing right up to the ending.
This book switches pov’s between Monica and Jennifer. We read more of Monica’s pov than Jennifer’s. You see Jennifer died so we get a glimpse of what led up to her death. Within a month all 5 cheerleaders were dead and as Monica unravels the truth it may …
The Raging Ones Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
I actually picked this book up and put it down for a week. I didn’t realize it was a m/m book and I tend to shy away from those. I’ve read them before and they weren’t done tastefully so it put me off. I’m so happy I picked it back up. This book was incredible and had me tearing up throughout. I won’t be hesitant to read m/m books in my future.
Court, Mykal and …
Lying in Wait Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
I’m still trying to understand what I just read. I don’t understand how a mother can be so evil and corrupt. That’s all I’ll say on that matter. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone else
This book is told from multiple pov’s. I thought at first it would make for a confusing read but I was quickly shown that it made sense. I loved being in the head of the characters. It made …
From Here To You Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
I actually started this book awhile back and I had to put it down. At first I thought maybe I wasn’t in the right frame of mind to read this but now I know it’s much more than that.
I loved Darby but then I turned into liking her. To me Trex was a jerk. The way he didn’t give her a break or even a chance to think about what she wanted or what …
Kiss of the Royal Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
I really love this book! It’s different and unique. I have never read another book like this.
Ivy is a princess of the Legion. They believe that a Royal Kiss is all it takes to defeat darkness. The Royal Kiss makes your battle partner strong. Fast. Someone who can defeat darkness without injury. What happens when you realize everything isn’t as it seems?
Ivy, Zach, Brom and Millennia are my new favorite heroes. Their love, strength, …
Tell Me Lies Book Review
Angie’s Thoughts:
It has taken 6 days to finish this book. 6 days that I won’t get back. I hate writing negative reviews. I think authors work hard and it’s not my place to criticize them but then there’s this thing I live by about being 100% honest in all my reviews. So here we go..
I’ll start off by what I liked about it. I liked Lucy sometimes. I liked her about 1/4 of the time …
