The Wish Collector is about an ambitious young lawyer named Jonah who falls from grace early on in his career. Because of poor choices and other pertinent reasons, Jonah becomes a recluse, spending years hiding behind the walls of the historic Windisle Plantation. I knew it would take one special soul to snap him out of it and Mia Sheridan describes the perfect heroine in Clara.

Perfection. This would be the one word I would use to describe this love story. Reading the synopsis, it isn’t a story that I would typically go for but I am glad that went with it anyway.
What was great about it was it was so unexpected. There was a multitude of subjects that I would consider difficult but the authors dealt with each one with such poise and sensitivity.

The drama never ends in the Riscoff and Gables family feud. Just when one issue resolves another even more serious problem materializes. The great thing about it this time is that rather than running, Whitney and Lincoln handle all the serious issues together. They’ve become an indestructible team.
