After reading the Crimson Death synopsis months ago, I immediately thought this was the book that could turn the entire series around. It seriously had so much potential! And I do have to admit there were some great components but what diminished the overall story yet again was all the (what I call) “fillers”.

Given the title I was expecting this story would have been told in Jason’s POV or to at least be more about him but I was sadly mistaken. Despite the title it is told in Anita’s POV and her relationship problems are the main focal point of this 23rd installment.
