In the steamy and suspenseful sequel to Sugar Daddy (“A totally gripping take on romance and revenge!”—Lauren Blakely), a heartbreaking rift threatens to unravel a dangerous alliance . . . and a fragile new love.

After posing as an escort for the Sugar Bowl online dating service, Sela Halstead is looking for one thing: payback. She’s closing in on the site’s heartless founder, Jonathon Townsend, and she needs Beckett North, Townsend’s business partner and her lover, by her side. She’d thought

Angie’s Thoughts:

Wow! Just wow! Sawyer Bennett has done it again! She left me absolutely speechless. When I least expected it she threw another curveball in Sugar Rush that leaves me wanting more.

Sugar Rush picks up exactly where Sugar Daddy left off. Beck is throwing Sela out of his apartment. But nothing is sweeter and hotter than a man groveling.

We get to see Beck and Sela’s relationship on a whole new level. It was so nice to see them as a couple instead of a Sugar Daddy/Baby relationship. They’re so perfect for each other and when you have that much perfection then the sex is even hotter. Boy was it hot!

I can’t really say much about the plot of the book as I don’t want to give it away. So I’m going to say this. There’s love. There’s hot, wild, passionate sex. There might be revenge. There’s a whole lot of suspense. There’s a cliffhanger that will leave your jaw dropping to the floor that you’ll be cussing Sawyer for leaving us hanging.

Sugar Rush is everything and more than I hoped for. Sawyer left me completely speechless and I can’t wait to read Sugar Free.

Liezel’s Thoughts:

Just when I thought this series couldn’t possibly get any better, Sawyer Bennett surprises us with an even  more sensational installment compared to its predecessor!

I had mentioned in my last review,  I wasn’t all too impressed with that jaw-dropping cliffhanger. It was because Beck’s despicable reaction to Sela’s confession blew me away. It was not at all what I expected of him. At that time, I hated him for being so insensitive and I expected to feel just as disgusted in the follow-up but OMG…

Best thing I loved about the book….BECK! Let’s just say he has been added to my short list of favorite book boyfriends. I thought they guy was unredeemable but he was the complete opposite. The presumed bad boy is not so horrible after all.  He is that character that will have you hooked!

I love the complexity of this series. Haven’t started the series yet? I suggest you do so. Just be prepared….prepared to be amazed!

The Verdict:
