Angie’s Thoughts:

What can I say about this perfectly flawed and broken book? Exactly that. It’s dark and delicious. A story line that makes you uncomfortable. It’s ugly and beautiful. You feel dirty for loving this book. You feel wrong. You ask yourself is something wrong with me? No.

Elizabeth’s situation is unlike any other. There’s a darkness that wants to devour her and he won’t stop until he’s taken every last piece of her. Their relationship is unconventional by any means. It’s wrong. So wrong.

I don’t want to say much about Birds of Paradise because this is truly one book you need to go into blind. You need to feel every emotion. Every thought I had during this book you need to feel for yourself. Anne Malcom has truly outdid herself. I love this book so much!

But who knows when the travel bug will bite her again?
