Liezel’s Thoughts:
I am a huge fan of EK Blair. Her Fading Series is one of those series that I revisit often and despite how many times I reread those books the astounding emotions I feel from it tends to remain the same.
Truth be told, I was expecting the same with the first installment of Crave and the first half of the story definitely played up to that potential but as I was going into the second part of the book I honestly felt slightly let down.
The beautiful thing about Crave is witnessing a young couple fall in love for that very first time but what was bothersome for me was all of the life altering situations that Kason and Adaline were put through.
I felt immensely overwhelmed with everything that was thrown their way as individuals and as a couple. Some of it felt forced and was definitely difficult to stomach considering their age. Will all of this be worth it in the end? This is the questions that I am dying to find out!
It has been proven repeatedly that EK Blair possesses these mad writing skills and I am hoping she could pull Adaline and Kason through the extensive issues. We shall see how everything comes full circle in October. Can’t wait!
